Judging of Student Sculptures has begun!

Entries for the 2023 Student Sculpture Prize and Exhibition have closed, and after a careful curation process, judging will take place on May 19.

Winners will be announced at the official Opening of Sculpture For Clyde on May 26.

The winning student sculptor will receive $1,000 and their school will be the recipient of a donated sculpture from the SFC Committee. This section of Sculpture For Clyde Event has been generously sponsored by local businesses who believe in supporting artistic endeavour and have chosen to foster creativity in the region’s young people.

Batemans Bay High School, Carroll College, St Peter’s Anglican College and Narooma High School have all entered and their works will be judged by well-known local sculptor, Paul Dimmer.

The committee is indebted to the Art Teachers in local high schools who have assisted students in the work and in the application process.

The Student Sculpture exhibition would not be possible without the support of our generous sponsors:

Guerilla Coffee Roasters

University of Wollongong

Go Vita Batemans Bay

Steph’s Fabrics, Broulee

Mogo Framers

South Coast Bookkeeping

Zart Art Supplies

We appreciate your support for young artists in the Eurobodalla Shire.
