Sculpture For Clyde is a 9-day art festival celebrating imagination in 3D. It’s a free public event held on the Batemans Bay Foreshore, highlighting original sculptures from Australia and overseas. The event includes indoor and outdoor exhibitions, plus a student sculpture exhibition. It is open to professional, emerging and novice artists. Several prizes are available, and the event provides a platform for the public to purchase art.
The Batemans Bay Sculpture Walk, located along the Clyde River foreshore, is the legacy of the Sculpture for Clyde Event. Each year, the winner of the Acquisitive Award is permanently installed, creating a feature that can be enjoyed by locals and visitors to the region. Commencing at the Bridge and running along the Clyde River, there are all-access pathways from Clyde Street, Murra Murra Mia Walkway and along Beach Road.
